I agree, although it is MOSTLY family (my parents, my sibling, my own aunts/uncles; my PILs, my husband's siblings and their spouses...) and DH's friends who do it. My own friends from back in the day (before I got married) tend to be more reasonable! *I guess I would be very blunt about it myself.
